Rosalind Coben

Environments Associate, First Alliance Church

Growing up, Rosalind had a passion for all things related to the stage. Whether it was acting, directing, stage managing, or writing, she wanted to be involved in it. After attending an arts-focused high school specializing in drama, Rosalind went on to get a more “sensible” degree in Psychology from the University of Calgary. Though she’d always imagined being a theatre director, she found herself interviewing for human resources positions, since, you know, that was more sensible … After some unfortunate interviews at ill-suited companies, she found herself in Heather Wile’s office at First Alliance Church (FAC), interviewing for what she didn’t know would be her dream job. A short 5 years later, she finds herself directing weekend services at FAC, combining her passion for theatre with her love for people. Rosalind loves to work with others and enjoys seeing a plan come to life, and allowing people to meet with Jesus! She’s married to a wonderful man, Mark, and together they have a bubbly little toddler, Theo.
